Its the fact that people like Ford want to milk every dime out of every single car they sell, so profitability is #1, marketability (genericness), design and engineering are way down the list. Because lets face it, by and large most people are idiots and they will go out and pay out the ass for a mustang or an explorer deathtrap. Sometimes I just want to design my own cars that aren't all generic off the shelf crap that are designed by people that actually build and work on cars. Oh well thats life, I'm working on getting a new corvette. I had one and I thought it was a blast. I don't know anybody that likes c4's. Compared to the C4, the C5 is a great improvement, lets hope the next model continues to improve to where we can all be proud of the vettes. the end
